"should i stab him?"

I came home to find my brother and his buddy playing an RPG on the Playstation3.  After the perfunctory exchange of pleasantries, they got back to business.  Ted’s friend turned to him and asked, “So.  Should I stab him?”

Ted, being Ted, replied as I expected.  ”You should probably show him mercy.  I mean.  I dunno.  But maybe later he can do you a favor?”

I will have none of that.  Walking up the stairs I made my thoughts on the matter clear:

“STAB HIM.  Always.”
